In addition, President of Turkey Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, representatives of the Private Sectors of different countries, and political representatives of the countries of the region and the world took part in MUSIAD International Expo.
Mr. Erdoğan affirmed that government of Turkey is committed to increase regional cooperation and expand commercial and economic relations with the countries of the world.
He, furthermore, asserted that government of Turkey is going to continue its humanitarian assistance to the people of Afghanistan.

ACCI’s CEO meets with Iranian Commercial Attaché
ACCI’s CEO Mr. Ataye welcomed the Iranian Commercial Attaché Mr. Husain Rostaye and provided him with comprehensive information about the activities of the ACCI in regard to helping provide legal solutions to the problems of the traders and investors and providing them with the required facilities. Mr. Rostaye suggested a number of ways how to expand commercial relations, exchange technical and professional delegations, get joint investments, launch exhibitions, and solve the existing problems in the ports.
Mr. Ataye said, “Afghanistan like a rising opportunity is a perfect place for investors to invest in different fields and ACCI is committed to providing them with the required facilities and support.”
He, furthermore, said that ACCI is going to share the above-mentioned problems with the relevant officials of the Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan (IEA) and will find suitable solutions.
At the end of the meeting, both sides insisted on mutual cooperation and organizing more meetings in this regard.

ACCI’s Vice-Chairman Mr. Muhammad Younus Muhmand, President to the Secretariat of the ACCI Mr. Khan Muhammad Sarfaraz Baz, Financial President to the ACCI Mr. Sherin Agha Sakhi, and Khan Jan Alokozay and Zakaria Baryali members to the Board of Directors of the ACCI met with the Iranian Ambassador to Afghanistan Mr. Bahadar Ameneyan and his assistant Mr. Sayed Hassan Murtazawe and talked about the recent commercial and transit issues. Mr. Muhmand said, “Current stable security situation paves the way to external investments in Afghanistan and leads to better trade and transit relations with the neighboring countries and the world.”
He also pointed out the existing obstacles in dispatching commercial commodities to Iran and asked Mr. Ameneyan to eradicate these obstacles as soon as possible.
Mr. Khan Muhammad Sarfaraz Baz said, “We strongly support any fresh approach which could result in better trade and transit relations and organizing joint commercial exhibitions.”
Mr. Ameneyan said, “We are willing to establish frontier installations and invite the Afghan Private Sector to invest in it.”
He, furthermore, said that we are committed to strengthening mutual commercial relations and providing the required facilities.
ACCI's Vice-Chairman participates in St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF)
ACCI’s Vice-Chairman Mr. Muhammad Younus Muhmand representing the Afghan Private Sector along with the administrative and financial deputy to the CEO of the ACCI Mr. Mirwais Hotak and the Afghan ambassador to Moscow Mr. Jamal Nasar Gharwal participate in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum and emphasizes the commercial relations between Afghanistan and Russia be strengthened and expanded.Mr. Muhmand said, “The purpose of attending this conference is to meet representatives of different private sectors of the different countries, promote commercial relations and entice foreign investors to invest in Afghanistan.”
He also touched on the suitable security situation and lack of corruption and therefore asked Russian traders and investors and Afghan traders and investors who live outside of the country to invest in Afghanistan.
St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is going to be organized under the title of “New world – New Opportunities” from June 15 to 17 and the representatives of 135 countries are going to attend it.
ACCI’s Vice-Chairman and Turkish Ambassador to Afghanistan pays a visit to the Afghan Internal Products Exhibition
ACCI’s Vice-Chairman Mr. Muhammad Younus Muhmand, Chairman to the Secretariat of the Board of Directors Khan Muhammad Sarfaraz Baz, Sayed Parwiz Sadat Hofyani member to the Board of Directors, Turkish Ambassador to Afghanistan Mr. Cihad Erginay, and Turkish commercial attaché Mr. Bozat paid a visit to the Afghan Internal Products and handicrafts Exhibition.
Mr. Muhmand appreciated the consistent cooperation of the Turkish Embassy to Afghanistan and the humanitarian and life-saving assistance provided by the noble country Turkey to the poor and needy in Afghanistan. Mr. Muhmand suggested online and in-person conferences with the Turkish Commercial Chamber and business travel of the Afghan and Turkish delegations to both countries.
Mr. Baz said, “Turkish visas not being issued to Afghan traders is one of the biggest obstacles on the way to better commercial relations and we kindly ask the Turkish Embassy to eradicate this problem as soon as possible.”
He, furthermore, asked the Turkish traders and investors to invest in Afghanistan.
Mr. Cihad Erginay said, “Strengthening mutual commercial relations is one of our priorities and Turkish investors are eager to invest in Afghanistan, however, the Afghan government and Private Sector should provide Turkish and international investors with the required investment facilities.”
He, also said, “The Turkish Embassy is planning to start issuing visas to Afghans in Kabul and subsequently in provinces.”
ACCI organizes the National Conference of the Afghan Private Sector
ACCI’s Chairman Mr. Tawakal Ahmadyar, ACCI’s Vice – Chairman Mr. Muhammad Younus Muhmand, ACCI’s CEO Mr. Shafiqullah Atayee, ACCI’s Board members, Deputy Prime Minister of the Afghanistan Islamic Emirates Mr. Mula Abdul Ghani Berather, Industry and Commerce Minister Mr. Nooruddin Azizi, ambassadors of Turkey, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Russia, and Qazaqstan participated in the National Conference of the Afghan Private Sector organized by the ACCI.
Mr. Muhmand proclaimed ACCI’s achievements in the last six months and suggested multiple ways for better commercial relations, a stable economy, and promoted trade. Mr. Mula Abdul Ghani Berather said, “The Afghanistan Islamic Emirates (AIE) is committed to providing the required facilities for trade promotion, better commercial relations, and economic growth.”
Besides convincing traders and investors to invest in Afghanistan, Mr. Berather assured the participants that AIE is going to create more job opportunities and hire the right type of candidates for the vacant positions.
Mr. Hedayatullah Badri said, “Ministry of Finance of the AIE is planning to link ASYCUDA to the other existing systems in the customs of the country.”
He, furthermore, promised that the Ministry of Finance would not let anyone trample economic values.
Chairman to Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) Mr. Haji Muhammad Idrees said, “DAB has done quite a lot to make the International Community remove it’s imposed sanctions on Afghanistan, unfreeze the Afghan capital, dispatch of humanitarian aid, and has drafted favorable policies to be more cooperative with the neighboring countries.”
Mr. Atayee provided the participants with detailed information about the activities of the ACCI in the past 91 years.
