ACCI’s Vice-Chairman Mr. Muhammad Younus Muhmand representing the Afghan Private Sector along with the administrative and financial deputy to the CEO of the ACCI Mr. Mirwais Hotak and the Afghan ambassador to Moscow Mr. Jamal Nasar Gharwal participate in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum and emphasizes the commercial relations between Afghanistan and Russia be strengthened and expanded.
Mr. Muhmand said, “The purpose of attending this conference is to meet representatives of different private sectors of the different countries, promote commercial relations and entice foreign investors to invest in Afghanistan.”
He also touched on the suitable security situation and lack of corruption and therefore asked Russian traders and investors and Afghan traders and investors who live outside of the country to invest in Afghanistan.
St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is going to be organized under the title of “New world – New Opportunities” from June 15 to 17 and the representatives of 135 countries are going to attend it.
