Mr. Arian Zalgai Azimi, Deputy Chairman for Investment of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI), accompanied by Mr. Abdullah Rahimi, Member of the ACCI Board of Directors, and Mr. Faridoon Hashemi, a prominent Afghan businessman, met with Mr. Fan Baokai, Deputy Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and members of the Council's leadership on the sidelines of their official visit to the People's Republic of China.
During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral trade relations, expand commercial cooperation, and explore new investment opportunities. Mr. Azimi called for encouraging Chinese investors to undertake joint investments in Afghanistan, particularly in the manufacturing and industrial sectors.
Mr. Arian Zalgai Azimi expressed his appreciation for the warm hospitality extended by CCPIT and described China as one of the world's leading industrial nations. He also highlighted the investment incentives and facilities currently available in Afghanistan for foreign investors.
Mr. Fan Baokai, Deputy Chairman of CCPIT, welcomed the ACCI delegation and described Afghanistan as a long-standing friend of China. He commended the efforts of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment in promoting trade and investment.
Mr. Baokai pledged to encourage Chinese businesses to engage in joint investment projects in Afghanistan and reaffirmed CCPIT's commitment to supporting cooperation in the transfer of technical and professional expertise, as well as enhancing the volume of trade between the two countries.
