President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and ACCI's Chairmanship officially inaugurated Pine Process Company of the Raheem Gardezay Group

ACCI’s First Deputy of the board of directors Mr. Haji Muhammad Younus Muhmand, ACCI’s Investment Deputy of the board of directors Mr. Sultan Muhammad Safi, head of the secretariat of the board of directors Khan Muhammad Sarfaraz Baz, head of the finance of the board of directors Mr. Sherin Agha Sakhi, Mr. Ahmad Zia Azimi Shenozada member of the board of directors, President of the Pine Process company Mr. Muhibullah Gardezay, Ministers of the Cabinet, and Governors of Paktia, Paktika, and Khost Provinces inaugurated the Pine Process Company through an online meeting held in the Presidential house.

President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan H.E Ashraf Ghani appreciated the Raheem Gardezay Group by giving it an award and said that internal investment leads to economic stability, unity and development of the country.

H.E Ghani added that Gardez was only famous for its tremendous historical background but now it strives to be famous for its trade and business too.

H.E Ghani also thanked the people of Paktia, Paktika, and Khost Provinces for the conservation of the pine jungles and said that the government would facilitate fundamental investment in this regard.

Mr. Muhmand said, “We are willing to produce, process and do marketing for other agricultural products of Afghanistan while the government should find more job opportunities for the unemployed.  

Mr. Muhmand said that in order to convince the investors to invest inside the country the presidential house should be providing them with medals and appreciation letters.  

Mr. Mahboob Gardezay said, “Establishment of this huge and standardized Pine Process Company gives hope to the people of Paktika and if we are provided with the required facilities, we are willing to invest in electricity also which would result in more job opportunities for the unemployed people of the country and could reduce the poverty.”

Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Minister H.E Anwarul Haq Ahadi said, “This company is established with the innovation and persuasion of the H.E President Ghani and results in the increase of income and pine.” He, furthermore, said that a 12 percent increase has been added to the yearly 24 thousand tons of pine production as a result of the government’s struggles.

Pine Process Company is established at a cost of six million and five hundred thousand U.S dollars and has the capacity to employ one thousand people directly and ten thousand people indirectly.
