Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI)’S Leadership Meets the Afghan-American Joint Chamber’s Head

During this online event, both sides had a discussion about the existing challenges and opportunities in the private sector of Afghanistan and addressed the Geneva Conference as useful for the development of the economy of the country and insisted that the government of Afghanistan has to take advantage of such kind of opportunities.

Besides expressing their opinions and designs for the development of the economy of the country, they insisted that the government of Afghanistan has to create the required facilities for the investors and should strive to provide legal solutions for the problems of the investors of the country.

Agriculture and Livestock Minister H.E Anwarulhaq Ahadi, Afghan-American joint chamber’s head, and 170 representatives of the private sector participated in this online event.

ACCI’s CEO Mr. Sayed Zaman Hashimi represented the private sector and appreciated the financial support of the donor countries. He added that the private sector had to be added in the agenda of the Geneva Conference because it does not only strengthen the economy but also plays a vital role in bringing peace and security.

H.E Ahadi represented the Afghan government and said that financial support of the donor countries has a positive impact on both the Afghan economy and people and that this money should be used in rehabilitation and infrastructures of the country.
