Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI)’S Leadership Meets the Director-General of Afghan-Pak Joint Chamber

ACCI’s leadership met with the Director-General of Afghan-Pak joint chamber in order to provide legal solutions for the problems of Afghan traders in Waga port.

ACCI’s First Deputy Mr. Muhammad Younus Muhmand, ACCI’s head of secretariat Mr. Khan Muhammad Sarfaraz Baz, Khan Jan Alokozay and Azrakhsh Hafizi members of the board of directors and Sayed Zaman Hashimi ACCI’s Chief Executive Officer participated in this meeting.

Mr. Muhmand said, “Afghan-Pak joint chamber has carried out considerable commercial tasks in the last few years and political leaders meetings with each other has caused a great positive change in commercial relations of both countries.”

Khan Jan Alokozay said, “There is a considerable increase in exports and imports from Pakistan, however, Afghan traders are still facing serious problems and challenges.”

Mr. Azrakhsh Hafizi said, “Establishing a joint investment committee is crucial for the development of mutual commercial relations and trade and that the Afghanistan has numerous natural resources which can be used for the improvement of the economy of this country.”

Mr. Hashimi said that in order to overcome the existing challenges and to improve mutual trade, holding such meetings are useful and can come in handy.

Afghan-Pak joint chamber’s head Mr. Zubair Mati Wala said, “Inexistence of security is the main reason for the lack of investment in Afghanistan. Security and peace can convince investors to invest in Afghanistan and can bring a lot of fortune for the Afghans.” He, furthermore, said that the fresh fruit of Afghanistan has a great demand in the markets of the world and can result in the stability and betterment of Afghan Economy.
