Afghanistan’s Chamber Federation was inaugurated with a special ceremony with the participation of the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan

During the ceremony held in Chahar Chinar palace on 28/Sep/2020, besides on congratulating the Afghanistan’s Chambers Federation, the president asserted that to promote the private sector in Afghanistan is one of the major objectives of the Afghan government.

ACCI’s first deputy Mr. Muhammad Younus Muhmand talked on behalf of the Afghanistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Investment in the ceremony. He congratulated the inauguration of the Chambers of Afghanistan to the President, Private Sector, the Cabinet and stated that the Afghanistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Investment has played a key role in the economic and commercial policy development of the government. Moreover, it has been very supportive of to raise the voice of Afghanistan’s Private Sector, expansion of the Private Sector’s activities, and in strengthening the economy of the country.

He added that Afghanistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Investment commends and supports the establishment of the Afghanistan’s Chambers Federation. Based on law, the Afghanistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Investment has 5 members at ACF. The activities and responsibilities of the Federation should never conflict with the existing rules and regulations in the sector. On the contrary, this Federation should work as a coordinating body for the chambers and should facilitate the executive activities of all chambers.

Mr. Muhmand asserted, that the Afghanistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Investment as an authentic, well-experienced, and main member of this Federation and is committed to the development and improvement of the private sector’s activities.
