Mr. Sayed Zaman Hashemi Chief Executive Officer met with H.E. Aleemkhan Yisingildiyov Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Afghanistan at the embassy and discussed on pertinent issues relating to trade, boosting bilateral cooperation, exports and visas.

Through this video conference, they discussed on the role of the private sector in fighting the spread coronavirus and its negative socio-economic effects on trade and investment in the country. As well as, they exchanged ideas on cooperation of Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment with the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan as a joint effort to further prevent the spread of this deadly virus in the country.

Exporting pine nuts to China through air corridor
After a long break in the country export due to lockdown (Quarantine) in the world because of the Coronavirus, Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment put efforts to pass on the first export Shipment, which includes 110 tons of pine nuts to China through Turkish Airlines on Tuesday evening, 12 May 2020.
