Mr. Abdul Qasim Amarkhail, Member of the Board of Directors of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment and Chairman of the Dry Fruit Exporters Union together with a large number of fresh and dry fruit traders and exporters met with Mr. Mujib-ul-Rahman Shirzad, Deputy for Strategic Affairs of ACCI, and Mr. Gul Mir Amini, Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Transport Committee.
During the meeting the Chairman of the Dry Fruit Exporters Union and the participating traders expressed their support for and confidence in the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment. They also appreciated the leadership and management of Mr. Sayed Karim Hashemi, Chairman of ACCI, as well as his efforts to support the private sector, safeguard the interests of the business community, and promote the country’s trade and exports.
They further highlighted the important role of ACCI in following up on traders’ challenges, facilitating trade, and strengthening economic relations with countries in the region and around the world. They also emphasized the continuation of cooperation and coordination between trade unions, exporters, and ACCI leadership.
In response, ACCI officials expressed their appreciation for the support and confidence of the business community and reaffirmed their commitment to addressing exporters’ challenges, facilitating the export process, and expanding markets for Afghan products.
