Mr. Sayed Karim Hashemi, Chairman of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI), met with Mr. Turdakun Sydykov, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Afghanistan, at his office to discuss the expansion of trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.
Referring to the positive outcomes of his recent visit to Kyrgyzstan and meetings with the country’s manufacturing and export companies, Mr. Hashemi appreciated the cooperation of the Kyrgyz Embassy and emphasized the need to strengthen direct business-to-business and investor-to-investor relations between the two countries.
He also invited Kyrgyz traders and investors to participate in the Imam Abu Hanifa (RA) National and International Exhibition, scheduled to be held on 7th of October, and explore Afghanistan’s trade and investment capacities and opportunities firsthand.
The Kyrgyz Ambassador welcomed the efforts of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment and expressed his country’s interest in expanding economic relations with Afghanistan. He called for broader cooperation, the exchange of business delegations, and the creation of opportunities for reciprocal investment between the two countries.
The two sides concluded by emphasizing continued dialogue and joint cooperation between the private sectors of Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan to further develop trade and investment relations.
