Officials from the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI) and the Afghanistan International Exhibition Center announced at a press conference that preparations for the Fifth Imam Abu Hanifa (RA) National and International Exhibition are progressing, with companies from more than 20 countries having so far confirmed their participation in the exhibition.
Mr. Zainullah Hassany, Acting Head of the Executive Board of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, said that ACCI, in cooperation with the Afghanistan International Exhibition Center, has accelerated preparations for the exhibition and is working to make the event an effective platform for showcasing Afghanistan’s production, industrial, and technical capacities and expanding economic engagement at the regional level.
He added that the Imam Abu Hanifa (RA) Exhibition has become one of the country’s major economic events in recent years, providing an important opportunity to introduce Afghan private-sector products and capacities to international markets.
Mr. Ahmad Shakil Hazim, Deputy for Policy and Technical Affairs of the Chamber’s Executive Board, stated that, at the initiative of ACCI, approximately 50 countries have been invited to participate in the exhibition, and more than 20 countries have so far confirmed the participation of their companies. According to him, Uzbekistan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, India, Russia, and several other countries from the region will be among the participating countries.
He also expressed hope that the participation of foreign companies in the exhibition would facilitate direct connections between Afghan and foreign companies, help identify new markets, and expand trade and investment cooperation.
Mr. Mohammad Sabir Latifi, Head of the Afghanistan International Exhibition Center, emphasized the center’s readiness to organize the exhibition as effectively as possible and highlighted the importance of cooperation from the private sector, the public, and the media in showcasing the country’s economic achievements and capacities.
Mr. Mohammad Payman, Deputy Head of the Afghanistan International Exhibition Center, described the Imam Abu Hanifa (RA) Exhibition as an important opportunity to showcase domestic products and establish connections between Afghan producers and companies and foreign markets.
The Fifth Imam Abu Hanifa (RA) National and International Exhibition will be held with the participation of companies and representatives from various economic sectors. In addition to showcasing domestic and foreign products, the exhibition will provide a platform for expanding trade relations, exchanging experiences, and establishing new partnerships between Afghan companies and companies from other countries.
