ACCI Delegation Meets with the Leadership of Iran’s Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture

Mr. Mirajan Solaimankhil, Deputy for Policy and Government Relations of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI), met with Mr. Qadir Qiafa, Deputy Chairman of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture.
The meeting was also attended by Mr. Abdullah Rahimi, Mr. Zabihullah Samim, Mr. Hamidullah Habibi, Mr. Mohammad Khalid Majid, and Mr. Kamaluddin Tawhid, members of the ACCI Board of Directors, as well as Mr. Moein Jan Khawafi, Commercial Attaché of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to Iran.
The meeting aimed to expand trade and economic cooperation between Afghanistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran, encourage joint investments, develop joint production, and strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation between the chambers of commerce of the two countries.
During the discussions, both sides emphasized the importance of utilizing the broad economic and trade potential existing between Afghanistan and Iran. They also discussed creating suitable opportunities for direct connections between the private sectors of the two countries, increasing trade exchanges, promoting joint investment, and expanding industrial and production cooperation.
At the conclusion, both sides agreed to establish a joint working group between the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment and the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture to regularly follow up on issues related to trade, investment, and challenges facing traders of both countries and to seek practical solutions to address them.
