ACCI Delegation Meets with Afghanistan’s Ambassador to Iran

Mr. Mirajan Solaimankhil, Deputy for Policy and Government Relations of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI), led a delegation during an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran and met with M. Fazal Ahmad Haqqani, Ambassador of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to Iran.
During the meeting, Mr. Solaimankhil expressed appreciation for the Embassy’s cooperation with Afghanistan’s private sector and emphasized the importance of support and cooperation by Afghanistan’s diplomatic missions with Afghan traders and investors. He also provided information on the opportunities, potential, and challenges facing Afghan traders and investors in the Islamic Republic of Iran and called for greater cooperation to address the existing challenges.
Mr. Fazal Ahmad Haqqani, Ambassador of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, after listening to the concerns and views of the ACCI delegation, assured the delegation that the necessary measures and cooperation would be undertaken to address and resolve the issues raised.
The meeting was also attended by Mr. Mir Anwar Ghafari, Consul General of the Embassy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan; Mr. Moein Khawafi, Commercial Attaché of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to Iran; Mr. Abdullah Rahimi, Mr. Zabihullah Samim, Mr. Hamidullah Habibi, and Mr. Mohammad Khalid Majid, members of the ACCI Board of Directors; and Mr. Nasir Ahmad Soltanzada, Deputy of the Balkh Chamber of Commerce and Investment.
The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere, with both sides emphasizing continued coordination and cooperation between ACCI and the Embassy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in the Islamic Republic of Iran to support the private sector and expand trade relations between the two countries.
