Participation of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment Delegation in Iran’s Industry and Construction Exhibition

Mr. Mirajan Solaimānkhil, Deputy for Policy and Government Relations of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI), led a business delegation, accompanied by Mr. Abdullah Rahimi, Mr. Zabihullah Samim, Mr. Hamidullah Habibi, and Mr. Mohammad Khalid Majid, members of the ACCI Board of Directors; Mr. Nasir Ahmad Soltanzada, Commercial Attaché of the Embassy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Tehran; Mr. Moen Jan Khawafi, Deputy of the Balkh Chamber of Commerce and Investment; and a number of Afghan businesspeople, in visiting the 26th Iran International Industry and Construction Exhibition.
The exhibition was attended by government officials, economic stakeholders, and domestic and international companies and was inaugurated by the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Companies and industry and construction sector stakeholders from various countries across the region participated in the exhibition, showcasing their latest products, equipment, technologies, and capabilities in different fields of industry and construction.
During their visit to various exhibition booths, the ACCI delegation held discussions with a number of companies, manufacturers, and economic stakeholders regarding opportunities for cooperation, investment, and the transfer of knowledge and technology to Afghanistan. The parties also discussed Afghanistan’s potential in construction and infrastructure development, as well as opportunities for joint investment.
The participation of the ACCI delegation in the exhibition provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen relations between Afghanistan’s private sector, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and other countries in the region. It can also contribute to establishing new trade partnerships, attracting joint investments, and developing direct business connections between Afghan and foreign companies.
The Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment seeks to further promote Afghanistan’s economic potential, attract investment, and expand sustainable trade cooperation through active participation in international exhibitions and strengthening relations with chambers of commerce and economic institutions across the region.
