A contract for organizing the 5th Imam Abu Hanifa (RA) National and International Exhibition was signed between the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI) and the Afghanistan National and International Exhibition Center in Kabul, with the aim of strengthening cooperation and creating suitable conditions for the successful organization of this major trade exhibition.
The contract was signed by Mr. Zainullah Hassany, Acting Head of the Executive Board of ACCI, and Mr. Mula Mohammad Payman, Executive Officer of the Exhibition Center, during a ceremony held at the conference hall of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment.
Mr. Zainullah Hassany, Acting Head of the Executive Board of ACCI, expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the committees assigned to organize the exhibition and for the cooperation of the Exhibition Center. He emphasized the importance of the Imam Abu Hanifa (RA) Exhibition in showcasing Afghanistan’s economic, commercial, and production capacities.
He added that, given the importance of the event in expanding trade relations, promoting domestic products, and creating opportunities for interaction among economic stakeholders, ACCI would provide comprehensive cooperation toward fulfilling the commitments outlined in the contract.
Meanwhile, Mr. Mohammad Sabir Latifi, Head of the Exhibition Center, highlighted the facilities and capacities available at the center and emphasized the national and international importance of the Imam Abu Hanifa (RA) National and International Exhibition.
He stated that the Imam Abu Hanifa (RA) Exhibition has established a prominent position among the country’s trade events over the past editions and has become one of Afghanistan’s recognized exhibition brands.
Mr. Latifi also proposed establishing a long-term cooperation framework between ACCI and the Exhibition Center and signing a permanent cooperation agreement between the two institutions to institutionalize and sustain their joint cooperation.
The contract for organizing the 5th Imam Abu Hanifa (RA) National and International Exhibition covers areas of cooperation and coordination between the two institutions, including organizing the exhibition, attracting and facilitating the participation of domestic and international companies, traders, producers, and investors, showcasing Afghanistan’s products and economic capacities, and creating new opportunities for trade and investment development.
Mr. Mujib-ur-Rahman Shirzad, Deputy for Strategic Affairs of ACCI, also emphasized the need for precise and professional planning for the 5th Imam Abu Hanifa (RA) Exhibition during the concluding remarks of the ceremony.
He proposed developing a comprehensive marketing and promotional plan for the exhibition and conducting all activities related to exhibition promotion, marketing, participant recruitment, and attracting domestic and international visitors within an integrated and targeted framework.
Officials from both institutions described specialized and trade exhibitions as effective tools for supporting domestic production, expanding markets, facilitating trade relations, attracting investment, and creating new economic opportunities. They emphasized the continuation of cooperation to organize effective and high-standard trade events.
Mr. Ahmad Shakil Hazem, Deputy for Policy and Technical Affairs of the Executive Board of ACCI, along with department heads and employees assigned to the exhibition organizing committees, also attended the ceremony.
