The meeting took place at the Chamber's headquarters.

At the outset of the meeting, Mr. Sayed Karim Hashemi highlighted the responsibility of traders and investors during challenging times and emphasized that the leadership of ACCI should continue its efforts to ensure the supply of essential commodities, particularly raw materials and high-quality petroleum products, through various import routes.

The agenda for the sixth Executive Committee meeting was then presented by Mr. Zabihullah Omarkhail, Secretary General of the Board of Directors.

Subsequently, Mr. Zainullah Hassani, Deputy Chairman for Finance and Administration and Acting Chief Executive Officer of ACCI, presented the Chamber's five-month operational report and the Executive Board's recommendations. He provided the Board members with a comprehensive briefing on the Chamber's activities and proposals.

Following detailed discussions on the digitalization of ACCI's systems and the importance of accelerating this process, the committee also reviewed issues related to petroleum imports and measures to prevent the entry of substandard fuel into the country. It was decided that traders should be encouraged to further increase imports of petroleum products in order to meet the needs of the domestic market and the Afghan people.
