Successful Conclusion of the 4th National and International Imam Abu Hanifa (RA) Exhibition

The 4th National and International Imam Abu Hanifa (RA) Exhibition, organized by the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment for seven days at the Kabul International Exhibition Center to promote domestic production, attract investment, and expand trade relations, concluded successfully.

The closing ceremony was attended by government officials, deputy heads and board members of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, representatives of the private sectors of Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Turkey, and India, as well as media representatives.

Mr. Alhaj Zabihullah Omarkhail, Head of the Secretariat of the Chamber, on behalf of the Chamber leadership and especially Mr. Alhaj Sayed Karim Hashemi, Chairman of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, expressed gratitude to the exhibition’s sponsoring companies, supporting international organizations, security personnel for ensuring the exhibition’s safety, and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce along with other relevant government departments. He described the successful conclusion of the exhibition as a major achievement for the Chamber in promoting domestic products, developing trade, and fostering economic growth.

Mr. Mohammad Wali Amini, Director of the Executive Board of the Chamber, provided detailed information about the exhibition’s accomplishments. He noted that the exhibition featured approximately 850 booths across 25 sectors, including both domestic and international companies. Of these, 250 booths were from foreign companies, making such a large-scale exhibition unprecedented in the current circumstances. The event encouraged investors and traders while introducing Afghan products to domestic and international markets.

Mr. Amini added that over the seven days, the exhibition generated more than AFN 80 million in sales, and trade agreements worth over USD 700 million were signed, including 300 memorandums of understanding between Afghan traders and their counterparts from Uzbekistan, Iran, Turkey, and India in the sectors of agriculture, construction, and manufacturing. Approximately one million people visited the exhibition.
