The voice of private sector
Through this video conference, they discussed on the role of the private sector in fighting the spread coronavirus and its negative socio-economic effects on trade and investment in the country. As well as, they exchanged ideas on cooperation of Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment with the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan as a joint effort to further prevent the spread of this deadly virus in the country.
After a long break in the country export due to lockdown (Quarantine) in the world because of the Coronavirus, Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment put efforts to pass on the first export Shipment, which includes 110 tons of pine nuts to China through Turkish Airlines on Tuesday evening, 12 May 2020.
The USAID-funded commercial horticulture and Agriculture marketing program (CHAMP) Session held at ACCI, on 14th November 2018.
Mr. Sayed Zaman Hashemi Chief Executive Officer met with H.E. Aleemkhan Yisingildiyov Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Afghanistan at the embassy and discussed on pertinent issues relating to trade, boosting bilateral cooperation, exports and visas.
Following the continues efforts made by ACCI and relevant government authorities, the Balkh- Istanbul and Europe Air corridor inaugurated by President advisor in finance and banking affairs in this ceremony the Balkh governor, deputy minister of industry and commerce, BCCI CEO/Chairman, Turkish general consul in Balkh province, head of Balkh provincial assembly and dozens of private sector members were participated in this opening event.
Mr. Sayed Zaman Hashemi CEO of ACCI met with Mark Gizzi private sector Competitive Team Leader and Meri Cuculoska Policy Analysis officer Private sector Development Team in the USA embassy and discussed an array of issues including organizing of an expo and conference, trade and economic cooperation.
