ACCI’s Chairman Mr. Tawakal Ahmadyar, in the presence of Mr. Mirwais Hotak Acting CEO of the ACCI, and Mr. Omid Ghafurzai, head of the International Relations Department participated in a consultative meeting of SAARC member countries and discussed the major challenges of the SAARC member and various ways to overcome them.
Mr. Ahmadyar talked about the challenges among SAARC member countries. He said that the lack of necessary facilities in issuing visas of SAARC member countries to businessmen and investors, non-compliance with TIR transit principles among these countries, and the non-implementation of preferential tariffs on imports and exports between SAARC member countries are some of the major problems of this region and emphasized on taking practical steps to solve these problems.
A consultative meeting of SAARC member countries is held every year to find solutions to the business problems of this organization, in which the representatives of the member countries participate and share their views with the participants of the meeting.08/20/2023
