Chief Executive Officer of ACCI meets with H.E Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Afghanistan

Mr. Sayed Zaman Hashemi Chief Executive Officer met with H.E. Aleemkhan Yisingildiyov Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Afghanistan at the embassy and discussed on pertinent issues relating to trade, boosting bilateral cooperation, exports and visas.

At the very outset, Mr. Hashemi appreciated the opportunity for having a meeting. He underlined, in order to reap the benefit of available plethora opportunities and potential, it’s prerequisite to work together and establish conducive business environment for both business communities. He underscored, ACCI strongly committed to foster the cordial business ties between the two countries’ private sector but it requires reciprocal intention. Mr Hashemi, shared the barriers that hinder our efforts for boosting business relation also requested preferential tariff for Afghan products, ease of business visas and signing of bilateral and trilateral transport and transit agreements.

Respectively, H.E. Ambassador congratulated Mr. Hashemi as a new CEO of ACCI and wishing him success in his new tenure and vowed for strengthening business cooperation. He talked about disparity between the import and export of Afghanistan and promised continues support.

At the end, Mr Hashemi said; the dark decades are behind us. ACCI have taken great strides toward regaining Afghanistan’s central position for trade and exchange within the larger region.
