Mr. Sayed Zaman Hashemi CEO of ACCI met with Mark Gizzi private sector Competitive Team Leader and Meri Cuculoska Policy Analysis officer Private sector Development Team in the USA embassy and discussed an array of issues including organizing of an expo and conference, trade and economic cooperation.
At the outset, Mr. Hashemi commended the sincere support of USAID on implementing various projects which was of paramount importance for the economic growth of Afghanistan. Mr. Hashemi elaborated on ACCI initiatives and prospects and underscored on joint working.
Further, Mr Hashemi articulated the importance of peace agreement and its positive spillover impact on private sector activities, underlying that ACCI with the close collaboration of ILO and GIZ embarked, Start and improve your business (SIYB) and internship programs for displaced and returnees which play pivotal role in self-reliance.
Mr Haidar Project Management specialist briefly talked about the upcoming expo and conference which will take place in Istanbul turkey from 26-28 March 2020 and asked for ACCI active contribution. Also, Mr. Mark reiterated on supporting ACCI activities and wowed for conducting joint expos/ business conferences.
