Afghan HOMEX EXPO

The first home appliance, Sofa and furniture Specialized international Exhibition hosted by Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and industries (ACCI) in collaboration with Iran project Management Company held at Serena Hotel in Kabul city and will be in progress for four other days.

First deputy chairman of ACCI- Mr. Khan Jan Alokozay, Commercial deputy Minister- Mr. Mohammad Qurban Haqjo, CEO of ACCI- Mr. Atiqullah Nusrat, Commercial Deputy Chairman of ACCI- Mr. Mohammad Yunos Mohmand, Deputy CEO of AZAPROMO- Mr. Yusuf Abdullahyev, Chairman of Iran Project management company- Mr. Alireza Saderzada had taken part in this international exhibition.

While presenting his speech, Mr. Alokozay called the inauguration of Exhibitions as a significant element in trade and investment development. Additionally, he added: “The first Afghan HOMEX EXPO, wherein several domestic and international companies have participated, is an extraordinary opportunity for introduction of both productions & goods of domestic companies and introduction with international companies.

Mr. Alokozay added: “Inauguration of exhibitions can preserve and occupy a significant impact on economic development and market. Exhibitions are not to displaying company’s goods only, but their qualities, durability, warrantee as well.

He called on business people and manufacturers throughout the country to conduct their trade and business related activities in accordance with the principles and norms of World Trade organization; to provide goods and their product in a manner equivalent to international norms.

Mr. Haqjo named the commencement of exhibition useful and added: “world today is becoming like a village, the geopolitical role of countries is shifting its position to economy, and political agendas are replaced with massive economic program and agendas.”

Mr. Haqjo noted that the new law on investment which has come to its end has been prepared in accordance with international principles, the enactment of which would cause to resolution of obstacles on investment.

Mr. Saderzada talked over the history of exhibitions in Silk Route and added: “the purpose of today’s exhibition is pave communication links between manufacturer and consumers and quality of products and goods.”

The exhibition which will run for four other days from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm will be open to the public.

In this exhibition 120 production and service delivery companies from Afghanistan, Japan, United Arab Emirates, United States of America, Islamic Republic of Iran, Germany, India, Indonesia and Turkey displayed their products and service such as home appliance, stove, Home and administrative furniture, kitchen furniture, porcelain and plastic products in 50 pavilions.

The inauguration aim of this exhibition is noted as assembling well-known and reputable brand holding companies in Kabul on Home appliance, opening production and service delivery companies and introduction of original products and goods in Afghan markets to the Afghan residents.

Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and industries considers the opening of these exhibitions as an extraordinary opportunity toward strengthening and development of trade and economic relation among participating countries.

This exhibition will be held annually in Kabul in further years accordingly.
