(Termez Cargo) Opened at Afghan-Uzbek border

To facilitate trade between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan as well as with Central Asian countries and Russia, an export center (Termez Cargo) inaugurated at Termez, on Afghan-Uzbek-border. The opening ceremony which took place on September 30th, 2017 was participated by Doctor Humayun Qayoomi, advisor to the president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in infrastructure and economic affairs, Mr. Mohammad Shakir Kargar advisor to the president in the affairs of commonwealth countries, Mr. Alhaj Khan Jan Alokozai first deputy chairman of ACCI, members of ACCI board of directors Mr. Zmarai Kamgar and Mr. Khairuddin Mayel, Special representative of the president of Uzbekistan, the deputy prime minister, minister of trade and commerce of the Republic of Uzbekistan and more than 200 businessmen and traders.

As planned, a large number of Afghan traders and exporters will invest for quality packaging in this center to export vegetables, fresh and dry fruits to The Central Asian countries and Russia.
